'Tears of a Mother's Cry' helps families of murder victims [WBFF]

'Tears of a Mother's Cry' helps families of murder victims. Millie Brown founded Tears of a Mother's Cry in 2007, giving grieving mothers the chance to have some good days. For the mothers of Baltimore murder victims, she provides a Mother's Day banquet, a day in the park, Thanksgiving dinner and, now, a Christmas celebration.

A Mother's Cry [Johns Hopkins University]

A Mother’s Cry was founded by Ms. Millie Brown in May 2009. It is a community advocacy and support organization for families who have been affected by violence. Her journey for A Mother’s Cry started here at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2007.

My life is upside down, loving God.  The order of the world is out of place and I can’t do anything to right it again.  Oh, Lord, you know the pain in my heart at all times and you know why: my child has died.  How can it be that my beloved child is gone?
